GIVE A GIFT 2024 RECAP

The Marner Assist Foundation is brimming with gratitude as we reflect on the incredible success of our 4th Annual “Give a Gift” holiday campaign. This impactful initiative would not have been possible without the tremendous generosity of our donors and supporters, who turned our vision into reality.

Give a Gift expanded this year with a special community skate at The Sports Village. Nearly 50 children from York Regional Police hockey programs and HEROS (Jane and Finch chapter) joined officers and volunteers for an unforgettable experience. The event was capped off with a reception featuring delicious bites from Honestly Good Chicken Fingers, refreshing beverages from Chatime, and more.

Thanks to your support, we donated over 1,500 toys and gifts and made financial contributions of $20,000 to The Salvation Army Ontario Division, $25,000 to Second Harvest Canada, and $10,000 to 360°kids, organizations that provide vital services to those in need.

Additionally, in collaboration with the NHLPA Goals & Dreams, together we have donated 25 full sets of new hockey equipment to the York Regional Police. With the new equipment, York Regional Police has started a community hockey program with students from Armadale Public School in Markham, Ontario.

Your generosity has reinforced our commitment to #MakeAnAssist and positively impact the lives of those facing challenging circumstances. Thank you for being the heart and soul of Give a Gift—your support makes all the difference!
