On behalf of Mitch, the Marner Family, and the entire team at the Marner Assist Foundation (MAF), we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who joined us for the third edition of Sink the Stigma at East Park London!
What a truly remarkable evening it was! Thanks to your generosity, we were able to continue donating vital funds to the London Health Sciences Foundation's First Episode Mood and Anxiety Program (FEMAP). This innovative program provides much-needed access to mental health care for young adults aged 16-25. This year, with your help, we raised over $50,000 for the program and are one step closer to our goal of raising awareness and Sinking the Stigma' around mental health!
A shout-out to all our amazing sponsors, who helped make this event a success! To BMO Private Wealth, Bell Media, KJ Harrison, Skate Guara, Westland Insurance, Jonathan Brett Family, London Knights, Bluewater Respite, Tricar, NHLPA, TRUE Temper Hockey, Callaway, Astley Gilbert, Delta Hotels, London Tourism, and WestJet, thank you!
From the moment we stepped onto the green, the energy was electric! Mini-putt was a huge hit with guests of all ages, sparking friendly competition to win the coveted title of 'Sink the Stigma Mini-Putt Champ!' It was wonderful to see everyone laughing, competing, sipping on some refreshing DavidsTea, and creating lasting memories. Proof that raising awareness for mental health can be just as fun as it is impactful.
As mini-putt wrapped up, the party was just getting started at the cocktail reception. Kraig Nienhuis kicked off the evening with an unforgettable performance, setting the tone for a fantastic night. DJ Alpha kept the vibes going and the energy flowing, as guests enjoyed food, drinks, and networking the night away. A big thank you to our food and beverage partners: The Tipsy Pig, Ted Reader BBQ, Mark Anthony, The Finnish Long Drink, Mott's Clamato, East Park London, Coppa's Gelato, The Posh Cheeseboard Co., and The Pie Boss. We really couldn't have pulled off this event without you!
We would also like to extend a huge thank you to all our amazing special guests who came out to help make this event a swinging success. To Darryl Sittler, Kendra Fisher, Kraig Nienhuis, the London Knights and all the local London athletes that attended, we are very grateful for your participation!
Finally, once again, a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported the Marner Assist Foundation and our mission to create lasting change for youth in our community. Your support for local mental health events is genuinely appreciated. Thank you once more for choosing to #MakeAnAssist with us.
You've made a significant difference, and we couldn't have done this without you.
We are looking forward to welcoming everyone again next year at East Park London for the 4th edition of Sink the Stigma!
Sincerely,
The Marner Assist Foundation Team
